Ms. Tran Thi Trang, a labor and salary officer at Vina-Suzuki Tea Company, shared: “In 2022, I am very honored to be admitted to the Party. Also through my job position, I have favorable conditions to work with the Trade Union to represent, protect and take better care of workers.” Ms. Trang is one of 10 Party members of the Vina-Suzuki Tea Company Party Cell, a Party Cell with a strong tradition of Party development.

Comrade Tran Thi Hong Ha - Party Cell Secretary of Vina-Suzuki Tea Company said that the company was established in 1994 and since its establishment, the party members in the company have determined to build a strong party cell, contributing to building a strong union, a support for workers. "We always set an example, performing well in professional work according to our positions to contribute to completing the company's production and business plans. At the same time, each party member must study, understand, grasp information, and advise the company to comply with legal regulations, ensuring the rights and interests of workers", comrade Tran Thi Hong Ha shared.

According to comrade Tran Thi Hong Ha, as a 100% foreign-owned enterprise, many activities of organizations and unions are still difficult. Regular meetings must also be very flexible, such as the Vina-Suzuki Party Cell meeting on Sunday afternoons, the day off for all party members. Activities must be flexible, suitable to the actual conditions of party members, only then can we fully attract the participation and dedication of our brothers and sisters.

To attract workers to join the Party, it requires a lot of effort from the Party Cell as well as the Trade Union organization. “Many workers just want to go to work and receive a salary, very few participate in union activities. We have to encourage and analyze how participating in Party development and becoming a Party member actually brings benefits to workers as well as to the enterprise. Looking at the actual situation, workers have a more correct perception and are actively striving,” said the Party Cell Secretary of the Company.

As an enterprise operating in the tea industry, an industry that has faced many difficulties in recent years, the Party cell as well as the company’s Trade Union have joined hands, united, and mobilized workers to join hands with the enterprise to overcome the difficult period.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Luan, a typical tea worker who was recently honored by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor , said that after a long period of exploitation, the company's tea garden has also entered a stage of tree degeneration and low productivity. Together with experts, the company's workers are also trying every day in the tea fields, taking care of the tea trees according to the instructed techniques to renovate, restore, and "rejuvenate" the tea garden. "Vina-Suzuki workers are all trying their best, sticking with tea, with the business, and helping the company overcome this difficult period," Mr. Luan confided. At the same time, Mr. Luan also said that despite the difficulties, the company's Party cell and trade union are still operating well, coordinating with the company's Board of Directors to ensure salaries, bonuses, and full insurance policies for workers.

“Tea trees have a 45-day rest period to produce a new crop of tea. Renovating a tea garden takes a lot of time, renovating from the root of the garden is to renovate the soil, enrich the nutrients, fertility as well as improve the soil structure, abundant microorganisms in the soil. This is the main job of the workers in the company, waiting for the day the tea garden becomes greener again. We are determined to stick with the business, contributing our efforts to restore the tea garden. Difficult times are also the time for the business to recuperate, the company's workers always understand and strive to contribute in their working positions", shared Nguyen Dinh Luan, a 25-year Party member.
