Lam Dong officially approved Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project

The expressway starts at Km 59+798.33 (connecting with Dau Giay - Tan Phu Expressway Project, Dong Nai Province) and ends at Km 125+675 (intersection with Nguyen Van Cu Street, Bao Loc City, Lam Dong Province). The total length of the route is 65.88 km; of which 11.91 km passes through Dong Nai Province and 53.97 km passes through Lam Dong Province.

The project is planned as a class 80 highway, the completed phase will have 4 lanes with a roadbed width of 22 m. The diverging phase will also have 4 lanes but the roadbed width will be 17 m.

The total expected investment is 18,002 billion VND (phased phase), with the capital structure including state budget capital (6,500 billion VND) and investor capital of 11,502 billion VND.

To ensure effective exploitation and operation, the project will be invested synchronously with auxiliary works such as intelligent transportation system (ITS), toll stations, rescue stations, rest stops. In particular, on the expressway there will be 31 bridges on the main route, 10 overpasses, 1 bridge on the service road, 3 interchanges, 7 bridges on the cross-roads crossing the expressway, 3 bridges on the branch of the interchange over the expressway and it is expected to arrange 30 underpasses for people.

The Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway Project is not only a simple traffic project, but also a symbol of connectivity, the key to opening up new opportunities for the Central Highlands. With the goal of gradually completing the expressway system from Dau Giay to Lien Khuong, the project is expected to improve connectivity with the national transport network, significantly shortening travel time between the Central Highlands provinces and key economic centers in the South.

Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway

One of the urgent goals of the project is to reduce traffic congestion and accidents on National Highway 20 - a vital route that is currently under pressure from overload. Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway is expected to share traffic volume, freeing National Highway 20 from overload, especially at dangerous traffic black spots in the Bao Loc Pass area.

The project not only solves traffic problems, but is also expected to create a breakthrough in socio-economic development, promote tourism development, and ensure national security and defense for Lam Dong province in particular and the Central Highlands region in general.

The launch of the expressway will facilitate the transportation of goods, connect tourist areas, attract investment and create jobs for local people.

This project has been prepared for investment and implementation in the period of 2022 - 2027; completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2027. Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee will be the competent authority and sign the contract, Lam Dong Provincial Traffic Project Management Board is the inviting party and the Joint Venture of Investors including Deo Ca Group Joint Stock Company, Hung Thinh Group Joint Stock Company and Nam Mien Trung Group Joint Stock Company is the investor proposing the project.

Previously, on March 31, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai officially approved the Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership (PPP) form, phase 1.

The Bao Loc - Lien Khuong Expressway project has a total length of 73.62 km. The starting point is in Loc Phat ward, Bao Loc city (Km 126 + 484.93), coinciding with the end point of the newly approved Tan Phu - Bao Loc Expressway and the end point is in Hiep Thanh commune, Duc Trong district (Km 200 + 100), connecting with the Lien Khuong - Prenn Expressway.

With the approval and launch of the two expressway projects Tan Phu - Bao Loc, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong, Lam Dong people in particular and the Central Highlands in general have the right to expect a more convenient traffic connection system, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and creating a big boost for tourism to flourish.
