These 7 schools are located on high mountains, difficult to access in Phieng Pen, Khuoi Bon, Tong Ac, Khuoi Vin, Pac Ruoc, Na Khuong. In many places on the mountains, people do not have a source of water for daily use, in the dry season they have to carry water from rivers and streams. In some places, there is no electricity. Many primary school students here live far from school, some live 5-7 km away, so they bring their lunch to continue studying in the afternoon.

With funding from some benefactors, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, the group leader, and members, after nearly 2 weeks of work, have built 3 cafeterias for schools in Tong Ac, Khuoi Bon and Phieng Pen so that primary school students who live far from school can have a cool place to eat lunch. In particular, Phieng Pen school has an additional kitchen and warehouse. In addition, the group has equipped other primary schools with 45 tables, 190 plastic chairs, and 120 stainless steel lunch boxes.

Khuoi Bon school was given a refrigerator to store food. A nearby Khuoi Bon kindergarten was also given a 43-inch TV and an alkaline water filter.

Na Khuong school, 17 km away from the main school, has no electricity, so a volunteer group has helped set up a solar power system that is enough for teachers to use computers to prepare lessons, use fans and for lighting...

In addition, the group members also painted 20 murals with themes of study, work, and daily life for 5 schools. These murals have helped make the school campuses more cheerful and lively. Teachers and especially students are very excited.

The total cost of activities in Ly Bon is more than 200,000,000 VND. This amount is donated by benefactors.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung said: "We turn the wishes of benefactors into reality by organizing this program. This is like a bridge to share the difficulties and deprivation of teachers and students in the border areas of the Fatherland."

Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh, the teacher in charge of Phieng Pen school, was moved to share: “Thanks to the help of benefactors, the students have a decent place to have lunch, with proper tables and chairs. They have lunch boxes to store their rice, no longer wrapped in banana leaves or plastic bags…”
