Sleeper bus accident on Highway 55, many people injured

A sleeper bus carrying 25 people was traveling on National Highway 55 through Binh Thuan province when it had an accident and flipped over, injuring many passengers.

As of 8 a.m. on May 13, authorities in Binh Thuan province were still processing the scene and organizing emergency aid for the injured in the sleeper bus accident on Highway 55.

Earlier, in the early morning of the same day, a sleeper bus with license plate 72B-034.xx traveling from Binh Thuan to Ba Ria - Vung Tau , when reaching National Highway 55 (through Son My commune, Ham Tan district, Binh Thuan province), suddenly lost control, crashed into the roadside and flipped over.

At the time of the accident, there were 25 people on the bus. According to initial information, the accident injured 5 people on the bus. After the incident, the authorities and local people took the injured to a medical facility for a health check.

The accident left many people injured

The initial cause of the accident was due to rain, slippery road, the sleeper bus driver lost control of the steering wheel when entering a sharp turn, causing the vehicle to flip over.
