Vu Ngoc Khai said that although the fishing net is a simple fishing tool, it is a close and familiar presence in the life of the Vietnamese countryside.

It is a beauty that can completely dialogue with Western classics such as ballet and the Four Seasons suite by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi that has captivated humanity for over 300 years.
In the play Do, the suite Four Seasons is performed by the Do orchestra artists under the direction of conductor Dong Quang Vinh in a version arranged by contemporary composer Max Richter.
However, Vu Ngoc Khai boldly changed the order structure of winter - autumn - summer - spring to help himself choreograph the dance more creatively and excitingly.
Beautiful Western ballet dances to the music of the Four Seasons suite
This idea of change comes from Ngoc Khai's thought of wanting to try to reverse time, reverse the course of the four seasons to find the answer to whether people's personalities change when the weather cycle reverses.
Classical music has strict standards, so Vu Ngoc Khai was very careful when making changes.
He also said that staging a contemporary dance to the classical music of the Four Seasons suite was very challenging. Because many of the musical parts were too difficult for the dancers.
Luckily, Vu Ngoc Khai had danced this play at the Volkstheater Rostock, Germany, so he had some experience to share with the ballet dancers participating in this play.
