In celebration of the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports hosted an exhibition of achievements in journalism and publishing at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials.
The exhibition introduces more than 300 books, press publications, images and documents vividly reflecting the development and creativity of Vietnamese journalism and publishing in the digital transformation period.
Central and Ho Chi Minh City press agencies have released special publications to welcome the congress, the content of which reflects the spirit of competition, the will to innovate and the belief in the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress.
In this space, converged newsroom models, digital data systems and radio and television technology applying artificial intelligence (AI) will also be introduced, helping viewers access modern news production processes.
Historical and heritage books are digitized into audiobooks and e-books such as: Ho Chi Minh - Illustrated Biography, Illustrated History of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh Heritage... to help readers easily access them.
One of the highlights is the model of Nha Rong Wharf and DK1 Platform, artistically arranged from hundreds of books, promising to create a unique cultural viewing space for delegates attending the congress.
According to the organizers, the exhibition of press and publishing achievements will take place from October 13 to 15 at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials.
