Pity the situation of the old grandmother and three helpless children

Everyone in village 3, Cuor Knia commune (Buon Don district) sympathizes with the situation of the three brothers: Duong Minh Phuc (born 2013), Duong Minh Duc (born 2015), Duong Ngoc Anh (born 2017) because they still have parents but are like orphans.

Before 2023, the children were still protected in the arms of their parents. In May 2023, the mother left to find new happiness. The happiness was broken, living as a "single parent", the family's economy increasingly collapsed, the father also left home in despair and wandered. The three children Phuc, Duc, and Anh were left alone at such a young age.

The children's grandmother, Do Thi Thoi, is 71 years old this year. She is sick and weak, becoming the sole support of the three unfortunate children. Mrs. Thoi has suffered from diabetes for many years, causing her eyes to become increasingly blurred, and shingles has seriously weakened her health. Phuc is disabled from birth, with both legs twisted. He receives social assistance of 540,000 VND/month, which is also the living expenses of the four of them. Their life is in poverty, with one day full and one day hungry. In addition to the small amount of social assistance mentioned above, they also rely on the basic necessities provided by charities.

It is worth mentioning that despite such circumstances, the children still try their best to go to school. Currently, Phuc is in 6th grade, Duc is in 4th grade and Anh is in 2nd grade. Living supplies are lacking, not even a desk, so the three siblings have to spread mats on the floor to study by themselves.

The life of the four grandmothers and grandchildren is currently very difficult both materially and spiritually; the children only have a simple dream of having an old bicycle to use as a means of transportation to school, and having new clothes, shoes, and books like their friends at the beginning of each new school year.

The pitiful situation of these children really needs sharing, support, help and encouragement from organizations and individuals with kind hearts.
