Temporary emergency treatment of landslide on the south bank of Cu De river mouth

The City People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch announcing an emergency situation regarding natural disasters (riverbank landslides) in the southern bank of the Cu De River estuary to mobilize resources to temporarily handle the landslide incident, especially at the foundation of the T57 electric pole of the 22kV medium voltage line in the area.

Previously, from December 2024, due to the impact of strong northeast monsoon, big waves and complex terrain and hydrological conditions at the Cu De River mouth, there was a serious landslide on the southern bank of the Cu De River mouth. During the heavy rains that occurred from the night of June 10 to June 13, the landslide became more serious, with a high risk of causing the foundation of the T57 power pole of the 22kV medium voltage line to collapse, damaging the railway bridge abutment and other infrastructure in the area...

Emergency measures will be organized and implemented after the announcement of the natural disaster emergency, including: mobilizing all resources to temporarily handle the landslide incident in the area of ​​the southern bank of the Cu De river mouth, especially the foundation of the T57 electric pole of the 22kV medium voltage line; organizing damage recovery, arranging a system of danger warning signs and barriers in landslide areas; proactively arranging a guard force, not allowing people and vehicles to enter dangerous areas to ensure safety; increasing information so that people know about the landslide developments and causes to proactively take preventive and response measures and other necessary measures.
