On October 18, the Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province issued a record of administrative violations against a young man who did not wear a helmet and used his feet to drive a motorbike on National Highway 1 through Tan Bien Ward (Bien Hoa City).
This is an illegal act, potentially causing traffic accidents, disregarding life and awareness when participating in traffic.
Previously, on October 13, on social networks appeared two young men without helmets using their feet to control a motorbike on Highway 1.
Immediately after the above clip appeared, many people were outraged by the young man's illegal behavior and wanted the authorities to investigate and handle it strictly.
After verification, the authorities summoned LQC (18 years old, residing in Trang Dai ward, Bien Hoa city) who was driving the motorbike and L.Đ.H. (18 years old, residing in Bac Son commune, Trang Bom district) who was sitting behind. At the police station, the two young men admitted to committing the illegal act in May 2023.
Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Dong Nai Province Police has drawn up an administrative violation report against C. for the acts of driving a motorbike without wearing a helmet, carrying a passenger on the back of a motorbike without wearing a helmet, a person from 16 to under 18 years old driving a motorbike with a cylinder capacity of 50cm3 or more (at the time of the violation C. was under 18 years old), not having a vehicle registration certificate and using his feet to control the motorbike.
At the same time, administrative sanctions will be imposed on those who hand over vehicles to underage persons, the vehicle will be detained for 7 days and a commitment will be required not to re-offend.
