Issuing 4,000 tons of national reserve rice to Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Lam Dong

On November 23, the Ministry of Finance issued a decision on the issuance of national reserve rice in emergency situations to the People's Committees of Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong provinces that suffered damage due to floods.

Accordingly, the decision was made by the State Reserve Department to provide (without payment) 4,000 tons of national reserve rice to the People's Committees of the above three provinces in an emergency situation. Specifically, Lam Dong will provide 1,000 tons, Gia Lai will provide 1,000 tons, and Dak Lak will provide 2,000 tons to provide emergency support to people in localities affected by floods.

The Ministry of Finance assigned the State Reserve Department to be responsible for directing the regional State Reserve Departments to coordinate with the People's Committees of Gia Lai, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong provinces to support national reserve rice to ensure the correct quantity, target, and purpose.

The People's Committees of Gia Lai , Dak Lak, and Lam Dong provinces are responsible for reviewing and ensuring the correct objectives and subjects are granted national reserve rice in sudden and urgent situations; taking full responsibility for the accuracy of information, data, and the quantity of rice proposed for issuance; receiving, allocating, and distributing national reserve rice in accordance with regulations, to the correct subjects, and for the correct purposes; managing, using, preserving, and implementing the reporting regime according to regulations.

This Decision comes into force from the date of signing.
