Faced with her situation, the local Party Committee and government have directed mass organizations to join in solving difficulties in land allocation, legal procedures, funding, labor, etc. On the day of the house inauguration, Ms. Thanh emotionally said: “I have always dreamed of having a solid house so that I do not have to worry about heavy rain and strong winds. However, due to old age, poor health, and living alone, circumstances did not allow it, so I never dared to think about it. Now, I have received 80 million VND from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and with the help of the Party Committee, the government, local organizations, and neighbors to build a new house, I have fulfilled the biggest dream of my life.”

Ms. Thanh and Ms. Hao's families are 2 of 156 poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties in Yen Dinh district that are supported to build new houses according to Directive No. 22. Comrade Le Duc Tho, Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Dinh district, said: "In order to review and approve the right subjects, for the right purposes, and effectively, the district has established a steering committee for the district-level movement, established a committee to review, appraise, and identify support subjects; issued working regulations and an action plan for the steering committee; assigned staff to regularly grasp the situation at the grassroots level to advise the steering committee to complete the set goals. In the process of implementing Directive No. 22, the district still has a number of households that do not have legal residential land. The district steering committee and the district People's Committee have directed and guided units to review, synthesize, complete documents, and speed up the settlement process for households."
With that determination, the district has reviewed and found 156 households with housing difficulties in need of support, of which 142 households are building new houses and 14 households are repairing. After reviewing and consulting on the needs of the households, in 2024 the district will support 100 households to build and repair houses; the remaining 56 households will continue to receive support from the district in 2025. From resources, Yen Dinh district has so far mobilized over 17 billion VND, of which 800 million VND is from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; nearly 16 billion VND is donated and supported by businesses, collectives and individuals in the area; the rest is directly supported by corporations, companies outside the district and collectives and individuals to households...
