Yen Son honors outstanding students of the 2024 - 2025 school year

Leaders of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education and leaders of Yen Son district awarded certificates of merit to students with high achievements in competitions to select excellent students.

In recent years, the work of discovering and nurturing excellent students in Yen Son district has become a routine and is identified as a regular and key task of schools. The team of experienced teachers in nurturing teams of excellent students has been given attention, the review work has been organized effectively, the number of students achieving high scores in district and provincial level exams has increased in both quality and quantity.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the District Departmentof Education and Training organized 5 district-level competitions and competitions to select excellent students, and 1 primary school Olympic exchange. There were 1,483 students and groups of students participating in district-level competitions to select excellent students; 879 students and groups of students won prizes.

The whole district has 116 students participating in provincial competitions for excellent students, winning 57 prizes. Of which, there are 3 first prizes, 10 second prizes, 14 third prizes and 29 consolation prizes. Some schools with many students winning high prizes in competitions for excellent students are Xuan Van Secondary School, Trung Mon Secondary School, District Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities...

In the coming time, in order to continue to improve the quality and quantity of excellent students in the competitions for excellent students at all levels, schools in the district will continue to promote the work of discovering and nurturing excellent students, improving the quality of key education. School staff and teachers will continue to promote tradition, dedication to the profession, improve their expertise and professionalism, and focus on innovating teaching methods to promote the positivity and initiative of students.

On this occasion, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education awarded 11 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to disadvantaged students with outstanding academic achievements; the Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Son district awarded 316 certificates of merit to students with high achievements and 32 teachers whose students won prizes in district- and provincial-level competitions for excellent students in the 2024-2025 school year.
