Ngo Tran Anh Thu, born in 2021, Duong No ward, Thuan Hoa district, lost her mother when she was born. Her father works far away, and Anh Thu currently lives with her grandparents. Lacking the warmth of her mother, in addition to the love of her grandparents, she also receives the care of "military mothers". Since taking care of Thu, in addition to the support of 500,000 VND/month, the Women's Association of the Hue City Military Command has also regularly visited and given gifts to Thu.

Wearing a beautiful dress on stage to sing with her "military mother" in the program "Godmother, where the heart is warmed", Ho Bao Ngoc, 11 years old, Huong Toan commune, TX. Huong Tra happily said: This dress was bought for me by my mothers. I am very happy to have more mothers. My mothers always care for and encourage me in my studies as well as in life.

Bao Ngoc lost her father and her mother has no stable job. Currently, Bao Ngoc and her mother are living with their grandparents. The family is considered poor. In 2022, the Women's Association of the City Military Command took care of Bao Ngoc and supported her with 500,000 VND/month. Not only providing material support, the military mothers also regularly care for and encourage Bao Ngoc mentally. These are the times they take her out, go to the movies, and make phone calls to ask about her and praise her when she has good results in her studies.

In addition to sponsoring orphans and students in difficult circumstances, from the savings fund, the Women's Association of the City Military Command has carried out many practical and meaningful activities, such as: Helping red addresses; visiting and encouraging members in difficult circumstances, sick; children of soldiers with excellent academic achievements.

Tong Thi Khanh Tram (Phu Luong, Phu Vang) also has a very difficult situation when her father died early and her mother is sick. Tram and her sister live with their aunt. In Tram's situation, the Women's Association of the City Military Command has connected with the Phu Vang District Military Command to help and provide monthly financial support for Tram and her sister. "For us, any support is very precious. Even more precious is the encouragement and care from military aunts. We will use that as motivation to rise up and try our best to have a better life in the future," Khanh Tram confided.

Major QNCN Tran Thi Ly, President of the Women's Association of the City Military Command, said: Turning to the community and helping the less fortunate and those in difficult circumstances is not only a responsibility but also a heart and a sharing of our soldiers towards the people. For a long time, these activities have become a regular activity not only of the Women's Association of the City Military Command but also of the joint efforts of officers and soldiers in the entire force.

Up to now, the Women's Association of the City Military Command and its branches have mobilized and connected to sponsor 47 orphans with a support level of 500,000 - 700,000 VND/month (support until the children turn 18 or finish university). On average, each year, the total amount of support according to the norm and on holidays and Tet is up to 300 million VND.
