Regarding the case of an 8th grade female student at Minh Duc Secondary School (Ung Hoa District, Hanoi ) being beaten by a group of students , Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha requested the Departmentof Education and Training to preside over and coordinate with Ung Hoa District People's Committee and related units to inspect, clarify the incident and strictly handle any violations.
At the same time, information units are required to respond to the press according to regulations and report to the City People's Committee before May 24.
Previously, a clip of an 8th grade female student at Minh Duc Secondary School (Ung Hoa District, Hanoi) being beaten by 4-5 other students right inside the classroom was circulated on social media.
The clip recorded the image of this female student being stripped of her shirt and repeatedly hit on the head and face. One student even picked up a 5-liter water bottle and smashed it on her.
During the fight, a student in the class tried to intervene but was immediately beaten by these students.
The leaders of Minh Duc Secondary School confirmed that the incident took place at their school. Accordingly, after receiving the information, the school also proceeded to resolve the incident.
According to the female student's relatives, although she was bullied, she did not inform her family. It was only when her relatives saw the clip of her being beaten shared on social media that the family learned about the incident.
"The family asked her why she was beaten by her friends. She said that the friend sitting behind her teased her and she told the teacher. From that day on, her friends got together to beat her during recess," the girl's relative shared.
