Zalo is the most used social network in Vietnam.

On the morning of November 28, the Ministry of Information and Communications held a conference to summarize and evaluate electronic information activities in 2024 and orientations for 2025 in person at the ministry's headquarters, combined with online meetings to localities across the country.

According to the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information, by 2024, the country will have 80 more general electronic information websites and 40 licensed domestic social networks. The total number of Vietnamese accounts using domestic social networks is about 110 million accounts, and about 203 million accounts using foreign social networks.

Of which, as of June 30, 2024, the number of Zalo users is 76.5 million/month, Facebook 72 million/month, YouTube 63 million/month and Tiktok 67 million/month. Thus, up to now, Zalo platform has the most registered accounts in Vietnam.
