Indonesian beauty attracts attention at Miss International 2024

TPO - Sophie Kirana will represent Indonesia at the Miss International 2024 pageant held in Japan. She is considered a formidable rival of Miss Thanh Thuy in Asia.

On May 5, the Puteri Indonesia organizing committee announced Indonesia's representative at international competitions in 2024. For the first time in history, the beauty who won Puteri Indonesia 2024 will be sent to attend Miss Supranational 2024. Beauty Sophie Kirana was sent to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2024.

Sophie Kirana will compete with Miss Thanh Thuy at the Miss International 2024 pageant held later this year in Japan.

Sophie Kirana is 23 years old and graduated with a degree in Management Science from Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia.

Sophie studied Management Studies, Faculty of Economics and Business, Class of 2018, University of Gadjah Mada (UGM) and graduated in 2022. Sophie Kirana graduated with honors.

Sophie Kirana has been an excellent student since her time at Senior Secondary School (SMA).

In 2016, she won 1st runner-up in Abang and None Buku East Jakarta and entered the top 15 in Abang & None Buku DKI Jakarta.

Sophie Kirana previously participated in the experience as a volunteer with the International Folk Art Organization (IOV) in 2014.

Sophie Kirana is currently pursuing a Masters in Marketing Management at the Australian National University.

Although she only graduated in 2022, Sophie Kirana already has a lot of experience in organizing and working. She participated in the Young Entrepreneurs Exhibition 2019, worked as a market research intern at PT Adaro Energy, and worked as a business development intern for Shopper supermarket...

Sophie has a deep love for the country's cultural heritage, and a strong commitment to protecting the environment. She is passionate about traditional dance and has traveled to Venice and Genoa, Italy to perform Indonesian traditional dance.

Sophie also regularly participates in environmental activities, especially events aimed at protecting the marine environment.

In 2023, Indonesia's representative at the Miss International pageant was beauty Farhana Nariswari but did not win. Indonesia was once crowned Miss International in 2017 with beauty Kevin Lilliana.
