Up to 80,000 English fans are expected to descend on Bilbao, Spain, for the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup. But only half of that number will be allowed into the stadium. The four or so fans outside could put a lot of pressure on local police as English fans are notorious for being rowdy and drunk.

To control the situation, the police closed the trains to Bilbao early to prevent the crowd from arriving before kick-off. They also prevented Tottenham and Manchester United fans from clashing with each other by creating a space for fans of each team to cheer at a distance.
