30 secondary school teams compete at FPT Schools AI & Robotics Challenge 2025 |
On May 18, the Final Round of the FPT Schools AI & Robotics Challenge 2025 officially took place. This is a playground for secondary school students organized by FPT High School Hanoi with the goal of inspiring passion for technology, developing creative thinking and spreading the spirit of applied learning in the digital age generation of students. Although it was the first year of organization, the competition attracted 71 teams to compete in the qualifying round and 30 teams excellently entered the Final round.

FPT Schools AI & Robotics Challenge 2025 includes two competition groups: Group A – AI Web Hackathon and Group B – Robotics Challenge. Each group is a separate playground where students not only demonstrate their technological knowledge but also practice soft skills such as design thinking, teamwork, problem solving and presentation.
At the Group A Finals – AI Web Hackathon, the teams directly participated in a 45-minute programming challenge to complete an AI-integrated learning website, demonstrating their teamwork and creative thinking skills. After the programming part, the teams presented their products to the judges, introducing their ideas, outstanding features and how to apply AI tools such as ChatGPT to build content, Coze integrating chatbots, Canva AI designing interfaces.... The products focused on developing learning solutions for the subjects of Information Technology, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, demonstrating creativity and the ability to apply AI toeducation in a practical and effective way.
Mr. Dang Song Hai - Head of the competition's professional committee shared: "I am very impressed with the technology application thinking of this year's teams. They know how to apply artificial intelligence to build practical and highly innovative learning products. In particular, the focus on user experience shows that they have gone beyond purely technical thinking to approach the problem more comprehensively. This is a sign of maturity in thinking and development capacity of today's generation of students."

Table A - AI Web Hackathon with creative and new ideas |
In Group B – Robotics Challenge, with the theme “Protecting water resources”, the teams created ideas, designed and programmed robots to solve simulated situations related to environmental protection. During the competition, robots were controlled to perform tasks such as moving, collecting balls, transporting balls to the correct location... The teams coordinated closely, effectively applying programming skills, strategic thinking and teamwork spirit to coordinate and effectively carry out the competition. This year's theme not only reflects urgent environmental issues but also conveys a meaningful educational message, helping students better understand the role of technology in preserving and protecting water resources.

Sharing about the meaning of the contest, Mr. Le Xuan Phuong - Head of the Organizing Committee said : "We want to create a truly quality technology playground for secondary school students, where they can freely create, dare to experiment and learn through real-life experiences. The contest aims to inspire passion, develop thinking and skills for students in the field of technology and science and technology."

Through the competition, the young generation will confidently master modern technologies such as AI, Big Data, Robotics... right from when they are still in school. With impressive successes in the first year, FPT Schools AI & Robotics Challenge promises to become an annual event, attracting a large number of secondary school students nationwide in the trend of digital transformation of education.
