According to the Ministry of Finance , the Government has decided to provide emergency financial support to the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Dak Lak to overcome damage caused by floods.
Accordingly, considering the proposal of the Ministry of Finance in Document No. 18147/BTC-NSNN dated November 23, 2025 on emergency support for the provinces of Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Dak Lak to overcome damage caused by floods, the Prime Minister has decided to support 1,100 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 for 4 localities: Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Dak Lak. Specifically, Khanh Hoa province 150 billion VND, Lam Dong province 300 billion VND, Gia Lai province 150 billion VND, Dak Lak province 500 billion VND to overcome damage caused by floods as proposed by the Ministry of Finance in Document No. 18147/BTC-NSNN dated November 23, 2025.
The People's Committees of the provinces are responsible for proactively balancing local budget expenditures, together with the funds supported by the central budget and other legal financial resources to carry out urgent tasks to overcome the consequences of natural disasters according to regulations.
In addition, the management and use of the above-mentioned additional funds must ensure publicity, transparency, correct use, correct objects, and compliance with the provisions of the law on the state budget and other relevant legal documents, to avoid loss or negativity; at the same time, report the results of use to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister.
