With a sense of urgency and high responsibility, flight crews overcame complex weather conditions to transport relief goods to isolated people.
During the day, the unit made 7 consecutive flights, transporting a total of 20 tons of goods including food, drinking water, necessities and emergency equipment. This is the amount of goods prioritized to supplement the areas that are seriously lacking due to prolonged rain and floods, and traffic in many places is still cut off.
Helicopters have been dispatched to deliver supplies to a series of deeply flooded and isolated areas such as Tien Chieu village, My Canh village, Hoa Thinh commune, Hoa Xuan commune, Phuoc Nong village, Tay Hoa 2 commune, Phong Lien 1 and Phong Lien 2 communes. At each destination, the goods were quickly received by local forces, ensuring immediate delivery to households in need of assistance.
According to the leader of Regiment 917, the weather in the Central Highlands region in recent days has been characterized by continuous heavy rain, low cloud ceilings, and strong winds, causing many difficulties for flight operations. However, officers and soldiers still strive to complete each flight on schedule, ensuring absolute safety.
"Wherever the people need, the Air Force is there" - that motto continues to be demonstrated by the unit's officers and soldiers through specific, practical tasks while people in flood-affected areas are in danger.

In addition to the daily tasks, Regiment 917 is continuing to review relief needs in localities and doing a good job of preparing forces and vehicles, ready to mobilize to carry out the next task when ordered.
The timely relief flights of the Air Force have significantly contributed to helping the people of Dak Lak overcome difficult times and stabilize their lives before the floods completely recede.
