Attending the opening ceremony of the mock exam at Ho Thi Ky High School was Mr. Nguyen Thanh Luan, Director of the Departmentof Education and Training, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the 2025 Provincial High School Graduation Exam.

The mock exam is conducted almost exactly like the official exam from the stages of creating exam questions, invigilation, and grading. This is a practice session for both teachers and students before taking the official exam.

The mock exam was organized by the Department of Education and Training on May 16, 17, and 18. Specifically, on the afternoon of May 16, a meeting was held with officials and teachers working on the exam at the exam sites, preparing conditions for organizing the exam at the exam sites. On May 17, in the morning, students took the Literature exam with a time limit of 120 minutes, and in the afternoon, they took the Math exam with a time limit of 90 minutes. On the morning of May 18, students took an optional exam, each subject lasting 50 minutes.

This is one of the important contents to help organize the 2024 High School Graduation Exam effectively. After the results of the trial exam, the Department of Education and Training will hold a meeting to review the quality of exam questions, test papers, test-taking skills, teaching methods, etc. to have directions for schools to review and train students from now until the official exam date, helping students consolidate their knowledge and be ready to participate in the 2025 High School Graduation Exam with the best results.

According to information from the provincial Department of Education and Training, the total number of candidates registered for the 2025 High School Graduation Trial Exam is 10,508, of which 1,621 candidates registered for the graduation exam only, and 8,887 candidates registered for the graduation exam and admission exam.
