To best prepare for the music festival, on August 5, in Hanoi, the Organizing Committee held a meeting to review the overall work and reach consensus on the organization with representatives of the Public Security of units and localities, the Ministry of National Defense Band and the Arts Council.
The 2025 World Police Music Festival in Vietnam is hosted by the Ministry of Public Security . This is one of the special activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Day, the 20th anniversary of the National Security Day, contributing to enhancing cultural, artistic and musical exchanges, enhancing mutual understanding of national identity, country, people, work and combat of the Vietnam People's Police force in particular and police forces of countries around the world in general.
The concert is also an opportunity to promote the image of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends, demonstrating Vietnam's policy of being a friend, a reliable partner, and a responsible member of the international community. Through the organization of the concert, the role and position of the Ministry of Public Security in particular and Vietnam in general is affirmed, contributing to enhancing the prestige and role of the Police of countries around the world.
There are 11 bands participating in the festival, of which Vietnam has 2 bands, including the Ministry of Public Security Band and the Ministry of National Defense Band. The world band has 9 bands from 7 countries: Laos Ministry of Public Security Band; Russian Federation Ministry of Emergency Situations Band; Russian Federation National Guard Band; Japanese Drum Band; Tokyo Police Band - Japan; Beijing Police Band - China; Cambodian Military Band; Algerian National Police Band; Indonesian National Police Band.
Within the framework of the music festival, from 8am on August 9, the bands will perform around Hoan Kiem Lake to serve the people and tourists coming to Hanoi. On this occasion, the Public Security Forces will also have many other attractive performances, including a vibrant and magnificent performance by 1,000 drummers from the Public Security Drum Troupe, the People's Police Academy; performances by cavalry, officers and soldiers of the Mobile Police Command; and motorbike and car performances by officers and soldiers of the Guard Command, the Traffic Police Department. On the evening of August 10, the bands will have a trumpet concert at the Hoan Kiem Theater.
At the meeting on August 5, chaired by Major General, People's Artist Nguyen Cong Bay, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work, Ministry of Public Security - who directly supervises all activities of the music festival, representatives of the Public Security of the units, Hanoi City Police, the Ministry of National Defense Band and the Art Council met to discuss and give comments on the organization, agree on the overall schedule and detailed script of the program; the program of activities of the world music groups participating in the music festival. The units also discussed aspects of work such as reception, foreign affairs, communications, propaganda, plans to ensure security and order, traffic, health care, etc. to prepare the most carefully for the music festival, the music groups and the music festival to take place most successfully.
