130 foreign investors come to Vietnam to explore opportunities to invest

On October 8, VinaCapital Group officially opened the 2024 Investor Conference in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of about 130 foreign investors from five continents. The two-day conference featured speakers representing many industries and sectors, from technology startups to industrial corporations and large financial institutions.

Mr. Don Lam, CEO and founding shareholder of VinaCapital Group, said that the number of foreign investors attending the conference included both indirect and direct investors. Many foreign investors are interested in green and clean sectors such as energy and chip and semiconductor development in Vietnam. In addition to providing more multi-dimensional information on policies and analysis of the development potential of Vietnam's economy in 2025 and the following years, VinaCapital also wants to connect foreign investors with domestic companies to receive support in technology and development other than investment capital. “The world has seen a lot of change over the past year.
