133 students are exempted from high school graduation exam and given priority for direct admission to university in 2025

The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced a list of 133 students exempted from the high school graduation exam and admitted directly to university in 2025 (Photo: Manh Quan).

The Ministry of Education and Training requests that the Departments of Education and Training exempt the 2024 high school graduation exam according to the regulations of the Minister of Education and Training , for candidates whose names are on the announced list.

Students admitted directly include those who have participated in the high school selection exam for national teams to compete in international and regional Olympics in 2025.

The 2025 high school graduation exam will be held on June 25-28, with candidates completing procedures on June 25 and taking the official exam on June 26-27. The 28th is a backup exam date.

Candidates taking the 2018 generaleducation program will take four subjects including compulsory math, literature, and two elective subjects.

Meanwhile, candidates taking the 2006 general education program still take all 4 exams and 6 subjects including: math, literature, foreign language, natural science exam (physics, chemistry, biology) or social science exam (history, geography, civic education).

Last year, 139 12th graders were exempted from the high school graduation exam and directly admitted to university under the above categories.
