On September 22, the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations held a conference to report the results of the 9th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest (2022-2023).

As of July 31, the Secretariat of the contest has received 113 technical solutions from organizations and individuals registered to participate, with 353 authors/co-authors from 52 units and schools located in the province. Among them, the oldest author was born in 1944, and the two youngest authors were born in 2010.
After compiling the entries for the contest, the Organizing Committee selected 76 solutions for the second round of judging. These are solutions that have been applied in practice at units, bringing high efficiency, including 10 solutions in the fields of information technology, electronics, telecommunications; 25 solutions in the fields of mechanics, automation, construction, transportation; 8 solutions in the fields of materials, chemicals, energy; 9 solutions in agriculture-forestry-fishery, natural resources and environment; 13 solutions in healthcare; 11 solutions ineducation and training.
Based on the results of the Jury, the Organizing Committee has included in the award framework 6 solutions won First Prize, 10 solutions won Second Prize, 28 solutions won Third Prize, 28 solutions won Encouragement Prize.
Based on the rules and structure of the competition, and the scoring results, the Organizing Committee ranked the competition prizes including 3 First prizes, 10 Second prizes, 14 Third prizes, and 21 Encouragement prizes.
The Standing Committee of the Organizing Committee has selected 14 solutions with the highest scores, effectiveness and high replicability in various fields to participate in the 17th National Technical Innovation Contest.
The summary and award plan of the 9th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest is expected to be held at the end of November 2023.
