15 organizations and individuals were awarded the Provincial Environmental Award.

BAC GIANG - On June 4, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province issued a decision to award the Provincial Environmental Award 2025 to 15 organizations and individuals with outstanding achievements in the field of environmental protection in the province.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Recognition, a Souvenir Flag along with a bonus of VND 9,360,000 for each organization and community and VND 4,680,000 for each individual. The total bonus for organizations and individuals is more than VND 107.6 million.

Of which, 8 organizations and 7 individuals won prizes. The organizations are: Bac Giang Farmers' Association; Nenh Ward Women's Union, Bich Dong Ward Women's Union, New Wing Interconnect Technology Limited Liability Company, Van Trung Industrial Park (both in Viet Yen town); Yen The District Women's Union; Tan Hung Commune Women's Union (Lang Giang); Thang Town Kindergarten and Hiep Hoa High School No. 4 Volunteer Club (Hiep Hoa).

The winners are: Dang Thi Bich, civil servant of land administration, agriculture, construction and environment of Tan Hiep Commune People's Committee (Yen The); Dang Thi Hang, teacher of Tien Dung Secondary School (Bac Giang city); Tran Thi Phuong Thao, Principal of Hoa Mi Bich Dong Kindergarten (Viet Yen town); Nguyen Duc Thanh, Director of Tuyet Thanh Mechanical One Member Limited Liability Company (Tan Yen); Phung Minh Thong, Director of Nenh Ward Environmental Cooperative (Viet Yen town); Le Hoai Lan, Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities (Chu town); Trinh Thi Lan, Head of Economic Department, Bac Giang Newspaper.

The above organizations and individuals won awards in the following fields: Prevention and mitigation of negative impacts on the environment, incident response, pollution treatment, environmental restoration and improvement; implementation of green growth strategies, response to climate change;education , training, communication, consultation, advice, criticism, supervision of implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection; state management of environmental protection; research and application of scientific and technological advances in the field of environmental protection.
