17 propaganda paintings were awarded and exhibited in Nghe An

On the afternoon of August 15, at the Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center, the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library - Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An organized the Award Ceremony and exhibition of propaganda paintings to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025); propaganda for the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025 - 2030 term.

Speaking at the evaluation of the propaganda painting contest to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, comrade Nguyen Quoc Huy - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Library stated: The contest aims to widely propagate to the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army about the stature and significance of the August Revolution in 1945 and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam); educate the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of great solidarity, the desire for peace , the will of self-reliance, self-reliance, self-respect, and national pride; affirm the determination of the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army in the cause of building and defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

At the same time, encourage and motivate cadres, party members and people to overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities and chances, and be determined to successfully complete the goals and tasks of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term, the 13th National Congress of Delegates, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Resolutions of the Central Committee, bringing the country into a new era - the era of strong and prosperous development of the Vietnamese people.

The contest was launched from May to July 2025, the Organizing Committee received more than 500 works from authors from all over the country. The Art Council selected 17 best works to award prizes and display at the exhibition.

At the end of the Contest, the Jury selected: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 6 Encouragement Prizes and 1 Movement Prize for the unit that mobilized many authors and quality works to participate in the contest.
