On the morning of September 23, the National Children's Hospital organized an art and entertainment program called " Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2023" with the desire to bring joyful moments, encourage the spirit, and ease the pain for thousands of sick children who are away from home, fighting illness.
At the program, along with special performances by many famous artists, the children who are cancer "warriors" also performed songs they practiced during their treatment at the hospital.

Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hai, Deputy Director of the National Children's Hospital, shared that Mid-Autumn Festival is a festival of family reunion, a day for families to gather around the dinner table, a day when children eagerly look forward to breaking the Mid-Autumn Festival cake. However, not all children can enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival with their families.
At the National Children's Hospital, thousands of children are facing bandages and IVs every day. The joy of welcoming the full moon night with their families, which seems small, has become very difficult. Understanding the disadvantages of the sick children, the hospital and sponsors have organized this program so that the sick children can enjoy the joy of the festival and receive meaningful gifts filled with love.
Doctor Phi Thi Quynh Anh, Head of Social Work Department - National Children's Hospital, said that the "Mid-Autumn Festival of Love 2023" program is dedicated to 2,200 pediatric patients treated at the hospital with 32 fair booths worth about 1.5 billion VND including: Mid-Autumn lantern stall, toy stall, teddy bear stall, accessory stall, moon cake stall, fresh milk stall, photography, free haircut, food stall... Besides, children can also experience many free activities such as: Painting statues, sand paintings, scooping bamboo shoots, fishing, electric cars, instructions on making star lanterns...
