The process of handling 218 surplus properties (houses and land) resulting from mergers is ongoing.

According to information from the Department of Finance, a review and statistical analysis of office buildings serving the reorganization of provincial-level administrative units and two-tiered local governments as of June 15th revealed 310 properties (houses and land).

To date, provincial authorities have reorganized and processed 92 properties (houses and land). Another 218 surplus office buildings and land are still being processed. The majority of these surplus buildings are located in the former Binh Phuoc Provincial Administrative Center and former district-level People's Committee offices.

To limit the waste of public assets, surplus office buildings and land will be allocated as working offices for agencies and units organized vertically within the province. The function of existing office buildings will be converted to medical facilities, educational institutions , or for public purposes at the commune level. The remaining assets will be reclaimed and handed over to relevant authorities for management, business operations, and exploitation in accordance with the law.
