The special political and artistic program "Independence Star" in 2024 with the theme "Uncle Ho's words - Words of the country" organized by the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine - the Central Party Committee of the Public Security in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security , to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the successful August Revolution; National Day September 2 and the 79th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Force (CAND) of Vietnam took place last night (August 25) at the Hanoi Opera House.

The program has a total duration of 80 minutes, including 3 chapters: The Fatherland Calls My Name, Legendary Epic and Vietnam in the posture of a flying dragon . In addition, the program also has an opening performance with invaluable documents quoted from 236 articles of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong published in the Communist Magazine.

"These are articles by the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong published in the Communist Magazine, spread across the country from the capital Hanoi , the heart of the country to the city named after Uncle Ho - Ho Chi Minh City; from the Northern mountainous region to the Central region, the Central Highlands; from the Truong Son mountain range to Hoang Sa, Truong Sa, the sea and sky of the Fatherland. Wherever on the land of Vietnam, there is still the warmth of philosophical lines flowing from the humane heart, the great thoughts of the sage who passed on the aspiration for independence, freedom, and eternal happiness to the people and to the country of Vietnam", General Director Tuyet Minh shared.

Chapter 1 recreates the atmosphere of the self-defense teams, guerrilla teams such as the ATKs operating underground in the countryside of Hanoi's suburbs such as: Tram Long, 7 La villages, 3 Mo villages - Hoai Duc, Dinh Bang - Bac Ninh, Co Loa... preparing to enter the Capital with the strength of will, belief, and intense desire of the entire nation, creating the overwhelming momentum of the August 19th General Uprising, which shook the sky and the earth through Uncle Nguyen Quyet's memories of the General Uprising and the sacred moment when Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945.

The highlight of Chapter 2 is the history-making decisions of the Party Central Committee's Politburo, headed by President Ho Chi Minh, along with General Vo Nguyen Giap and the late Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc Hoan, who proposed the top secret plan of the 1st Eastern Group and the Reconnaissance Team to support the Southern battlefield, establishing a special working group on Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19, 1959) named the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail with the vital route: Cutting through Truong Son to save the country, transporting millions of tons of goods and weapons from the North through the forests and Truong Son range, crossing the sea with unnumbered ships on the Ho Chi Minh Trail at sea to serve the resistance war of the army and people of the South in time.

The Central Security Department of the Southern Region sent brave and resourceful officers and soldiers to join the Saigon - Cho Lon security reconnaissance teams to form a Special Forces force, quickly building armed organizations to destroy evil and traitors, destroy warehouses, eliminate traitors, fight the Americans and the puppet regime to protect Saigon, protect the Revolution, and prepare to wait for the order to coordinate the Mau Than General Offensive in 1968.

Chapter 3 consists of two songs composed by choreographer Tuyet Minh specifically for the program: the march: "Saigon Special Security Soldier" in gratitude to the outstanding sons of the motherland Vietnam who devoted their entire lives to the Fatherland in the Mau Than battle in 1968 and the long poem: "Uncle Ho's Words - The Words of the Country" is a moment of silence in gratitude to the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong with sacred feelings and deep emotions.

Director Tuyet Minh said that, with the desire to not stop at an art program to celebrate or welcome the usual major holidays, she determined that "Sao Doc Lap" is a political art program, so the requirements of history, current events and artistic elements must be blended and refined.

"Historical figures such as President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo Nguyen Giap, Minister Tran Quoc Hoan, Director of the Guard Department Hoang Huu Khang and especially the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the Saigon Special Security soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the 1968 Tet Offensive will be portrayed and honored through messages from the political tasks of "special figures" such as: General Nguyen Quyet; Minister of Public Security - Senior Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang; Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine - Associate Professor, Dr. Le Hai Binh.
