On the morning of May 3, the Organizing Committee of the 2025 National Youth Volleyball Championship held a professional meeting and drew lots to schedule the matches for the teams. The tournament was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (VH-TT-DL) of Tra Vinh in coordination with the Department of Physical Training and Sports (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

Participating in the 2025 National Youth Volleyball Championship (men under 20 years old and women under 19 years old) are 28 teams from localities and units across the country; including 13 men's teams and 15 women's teams. The teams will compete in a round-robin format in 02 groups for men and 03 groups for women. Then, the teams with good results will be selected to compete in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
Head Coach of Tra Vinh Men's Volleyball Team Nguyen Van Teo requested that the team be given priority to compete after the opening ceremony to serve Tra Vinh audiences.

Men's Group A: Ha Tinh, Long An, Ben Tre , Tra Vinh, SKH Pearl Net Khanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Da Nang.
Men's Group B: Vinh Long, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, The Cong - Tan Cang, Ninh Binh, MB Border Guard
Women's Group C: Thai Binh, Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals, Vietinbank, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen.
Women's Group D: Ninh Binh, Bac Ninh, Northeast Signal Corps, Hung Yen, Ho Chi Minh City.
