The entire okra growing area is purchased by the enterprise at a stable price of 7,000 VND/kg.

Currently, there are about 30 hectares of okra in An Son and Hop Tien communes (Nam Sach) being contracted by Tan Huong Agricultural and Food Processing Joint Stock Company in Cam Van commune (Cam Giang), a decrease of about 1/3 compared to last year due to the decrease in agricultural land area in these two communes. The okra growing area has been stably purchased by the company for many years, so farmers do not have to worry about product output. The company guides farmers in planting and fertilization techniques to ensure safety standards.

Okra is dried, packaged and sold to many domestic businesses.

Okra is currently being harvested with a yield of 5 quintals/sao. The company is purchasing okra from farmers at a stable price of 7,000 VND/kg. With this selling price, after deducting costs, farmers earn a profit of more than 3 million VND/sao/crop, about 4 times higher than growing rice. After being purchased, okra is pre-processed, dried at the factory and packaged for sale to domestic enterprises.
