For the third consecutive year, Nam Sach has achieved and exceeded economic development targets.

On the morning of December 19, the 20th term People's Council of Nam Sach district opened the 18th session (regular session at the end of 2024).

According to the report of Nam Sach District People's Committee, the district achieved and exceeded all 18 main socio -economic development targets in 2024.

This is the third year since 2022 that Nam Sach district has achieved and exceeded all major socio-economic development targets.

Nam Sach District People's Committee assessed that despite many difficulties, especially the impact of storm No. 3, thanks to efforts and determination, the district's socio-economic situation in 2024 achieved positive results.

Of which, the total production value is estimated at more than 16,402 billion VND, exceeding the plan, up 13.3% compared to 2023. The economic structure between agriculture - industry, construction - services is 11.1% - 73.2% - 15.7%.

Total budget revenue is estimated at over VND 1,770 billion, exceeding the plan by 145.7% (more than double that of 2023). The disbursement rate of public investment capital is estimated at 100% compared to the actual announced allocation.

The value of industrial and handicraft production is estimated at over VND9,583 billion, exceeding the plan. An Phat 1 High-Tech Industrial Park has attracted 20 secondary investors, Thai Tan Industrial Cluster and Nam Hong - Hong Phong Industrial Cluster are in the process of making detailed plans.

The district has completed and put into use 15/17 projects invested by the district. Completed construction and put into use 59 new classrooms and continued to build 53 classrooms.

The district has another commune, Hop Tien, that has achieved advanced new rural standards, and Phu Dien commune, that has achieved model new rural standards in 2023. Up to now, the whole district has 10 communes that have achieved advanced new rural standards, and 3 communes that have achieved model new rural standards.

Nam Sach District People's Committee has set out key tasks for 2025 with 18 main socio-economic development targets and groups of solutions to resolutely implement goals in each specific field.
