Students of Kim Long Secondary School No. 2 donate to support the elimination of temporary houses for poor households |
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Xuan district on the program "Joining hands for the poor" associated with the program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the whole district has recorded the active participation of organizations, individuals and people in 13/13 wards.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Xuan District, during the peak period of mobilizing donations to support the Program "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" from March 20 to April 20, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Xuan District received more than 703 million VND from 115 units, businesses and individuals. From this mobilized source, the district has implemented the first phase of support, including building 1 new house and repairing 38 houses with a total cost of 400 million VND. The households supported in this phase are all poor and near-poor households with especially difficult circumstances in 11 wards.
Through screening, there are currently 77 households eligible for support to build or repair houses in 2025. It is expected that the second support phase will be deployed in the near future for the remaining 38 households, with a total cost of nearly 550 million VND.
