According to the announcement of Vietnam Railways Corporation (VNR), the Covid-19 epidemic has caused a large number of passengers to have their trains canceled during the 2021 Lunar New Year.

Recently, the railway industry has refunded tickets for this group of customers (or reserved tickets for use within 1 year). However, up to now, more than 4,000 customers have not completed the procedures to receive refunds, equivalent to nearly 2.2 billion VND.

Therefore, VNR calls on passengers to go to the nearest station to return reserved tickets. The refund period is from now until October 31. After this time, the company will stop supporting ticket refunds.

When going to the train stations to refund reserved tickets, passengers need to bring the original "ticket return receipt" with the ticket return stamp and valid identification documents to the ticket sales offices at the railway stations to receive the refund.

In case of losing the "ticket return receipt", passengers must fill in the form at the station instead of the previously reserved ticket return receipt. Passengers can also call the ticket sales hotline 19001520 (HCMC) or 19000109 ( Hanoi ) for specific answers and instructions.
