4 people in a family died in a house fire in Tien Giang

Initial information said that at around 1:00 a.m. on April 10, residents in the alley in Group 1, Quarter 7, Ward 4, My Tho City discovered that Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Tien's house was on fire, so they reported it to the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Tien Giang Provincial Police to come and put out the fire.

When the fire was extinguished, authorities discovered that four people sleeping in the house had died: Huynh Thi Thuy Tien, Huynh Thi Ngoc Dung, Nguyen Khanh Huynh Doan, and Nguyen Minh Hieu. Most of the property in the house was burned down.

The house on fire is located in a small alley, consisting of 1 ground floor and 1 mezzanine floor. The fire broke out at night. The house has no emergency exit at the back, so firefighting was difficult.

This morning, leaders of My Tho City People's Committee and functional departments of Tien Giang province visited the scene to visit and encourage the victims' families; organized a crime scene investigation, autopsy, and verified the cause of this serious fire.

It is known that the family affected by the fire is facing many difficulties, all the main members of the family have died, so the local government and organizations are discussing a funeral plan for the victims.
