6,041 union members admitted in the first 6 months of the year

BPO - In the first 6 months of 2025, trade unions at all levels in the province admitted 6,041 union members and established 36 grassroots trade unions, bringing the total number of union members and grassroots trade unions in the province to 131,149 people and 1,337 units. Of which, there are 794 state-owned trade unions and 543 non-state-owned trade unions. There are 307 outstanding union members introduced to the Party by trade unions at all levels, 45 union members admitted to the Party.

Up to now, the ratio of union members to the total number of workers and civil servants has reached 96.58%. Although the number of full-time union officials is "thin", with limited professional expertise and skills, etc., all levels of unions in the province have made great efforts, actively and proactively, focused resources, and synchronously implemented tasks and solutions, with high political determination, and competed enthusiastically, ensuring progress and completing the set targets.

Implementing the arrangement of trade union organizations according to Conclusion No. 157-KL/TW dated May 25, 2025 of the Politburo , the Provincial Federation of Labor has directed the labor federations of districts, towns, cities, industrial park trade unions, trade unions of party agencies and provincial government to review the grassroots trade unions under their units, organize meetings of the standing committee and executive committee to approve the policy to end the activities of grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% state budget salary; carry out procedures to transfer grassroots trade unions that are not subject to termination of activities to the Provincial Federation of Labor for management. The time to end activities, handover, and complete procedures according to regulations is before June 15, 2025.
