Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly becoming a core enabler of marketing effectiveness and enhancing personalized customer experiences globally.

At the Meta Marketing Summit 2025 event, Mr. Benjamin Joe - Vice President of Southeast Asia of Meta, commented: "Vietnamese consumers are setting a new standard in applying AI to daily life. Up to 15% of consumers here use AI to search for shopping ideas for the holiday season, the highest rate among the surveyed markets. This opens up a huge opportunity for businesses to personalize experiences and accelerate digital transformation."

As of Q4 2024, more than 4 million advertisers globally were using at least one of Meta’s AI-powered ad creation tools. A new study conducted in early 2024 found that advertisers in the Asia-Pacific region achieved an average return on ad spend (ROAS) of $3.47 for every $1 spent on advertising on Meta’s platform, up 15% from 2022.

Meanwhile, Mr. Khoi Le - Country Director of Meta in Vietnam, shared: "66% of Vietnamese businesses are using AI to communicate with customers and 63% use it to find new customers. This shows that AI is no longer a technology of the future, but has become an essential part of businesses' growth strategies."

A representative from Meta said that the group will commit to not only providing advanced AI solutions, but also accompanying Vietnamese businesses in the goal of personalizing customer experience, optimizing performance and expanding business opportunities in the digital age.

Many AI cooperation models between Meta and Vietnamese enterprises have begun to show effectiveness. Viettel, with its virtual legal assistant GenAI on the Llama platform, has helped legal staff look up documents faster and more accurately, reducing working time by about 30%.

Meta also recently announced the launch of its own Meta AI app, a separate AI app powered by the Llama 4 model, opening up a more personalized AI experience. Users can now have a seamless conversation with Meta AI in a separate app, with a Discover Feed that allows them to discover and share commands that aid in their creative process.

Meta AI has been deeply and seamlessly integrated across WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, Instagram and the web version, making it easy for users to use the AI ​​assistant anytime, anywhere when needed. In addition, Meta also introduced three new AI solutions for the Vietnamese market.

First, Opportunity Score is a new tool that helps businesses evaluate and optimize advertising campaign effectiveness in near real-time right in Ads Manager.

Second, the Advantage+ Leads Campaigns feature helps generate leads, helping businesses reduce cost per customer by 14% in initial tests.

Third, Transfer with Your Payment App allows customers to pay directly in Messenger through popular banking and e-wallet applications in Vietnam./.
