69 performances participated in the Traditional Arts Festival of Can Tho University

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hieu Trung, Vice President of Can Tho University, presented flowers to the Jury.

Participating in this year's performance are 14 units from faculties, institutes, and schools of Can Tho University, with nearly 800 staff, lecturers, students, and pupils performing.

Each unit will create an art competition program, including genres such as singing, dancing, traditional singing, etc. The 14 competition programs have a total of 69 performances.

The dance performance depicting the heroic history of Cu Chi Tunnels by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities captured the audience's hearts.

Many performances are elaborately and artistically staged.

Each unit's contest program has content praising the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland and country; praising the work of building and protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the homeland.

The units also focused on topics reflecting the achievements and innovation process of Can Tho University; on youth and student movements...

According to the Organizing Committee, when building the program, the units focused on expressing the national identity, local cultural colors and professional characteristics of the unit.

The festival takes place from May 16 to May 19, 2025.
