70 years of Dien Bien Phu Victory: Exhibition of 70 large-scale propaganda paintings

On the morning of April 2, at 7/5 Square, Dien Bien Phu city (Dien Bien province), the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dien Bien province to organize the opening ceremony of the National Propaganda Painting Exhibition to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

At the exhibition, the Organizing Committee displayed 70 works by professional and non-professional artists nationwide, selected from the Propaganda Painting Competition to Celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture. This is one of the large-scale activities with profound political and humanistic significance, held in the three provinces of Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho and Dien Bien. The exhibition was organized not only to honor the Dien Bien Phu Victory but also to encourage the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to continue to strive to compete and achieve many "Dien Bien Phu" feats in peacetime.

Speaking at the exhibition, Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Nguyen Quoc Huy emphasized that the works displayed at the exhibition clearly demonstrate propaganda content, meeting the requirements of fine arts. Through language, images and colors, the exhibition aims to widely propagate the significance, stature and great historical value of the Dien Bien Phu Victory throughout the Party, the people and the army; at the same time affirming the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam , President Ho Chi Minh and the spirit of great national unity. Through this, it arouses and promotes the tradition of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, the will to fight and win of the Dien Bien Phu campaign; honors and expresses deep gratitude to generations of Vietnamese people who sacrificed their blood and made many contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification; encourages and motivates cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to strive and make efforts to overcome difficulties and fulfill political goals and tasks; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party.
