Which 8 social housing projects has Hanoi added to its housing development plan?

The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 4279/QD-UBND approving the updated list of housing and urban area construction investment projects in the city's housing development plans for the 2021-2025 period (phase 1).

Accordingly, 8 social housing construction investment projects are updated in the social housing development plan of Hanoi City for the period 2021-2025, including: Vinh Hung high-rise social housing (Thanh Tri ward, Hoang Mai district); High-rise social housing area at 393 Linh Nam (Vinh Hung ward, Hoang Mai district); Social housing area for officers and soldiers of the Ministry of Public Security in Mai Lam commune (Dong Anh district); Minh Duc housing project (social housing part in CT land plot) in Tien Phong commune (Me Linh district);

CT4 Dong Anh social housing area (Dong Anh district); Investment project to build Duc Thuong social housing area in Phu Da village (Duc Thuong commune, Hoai Duc district); Social housing area combined with parking lot in Co Bi commune (Gia Lam district); Social housing construction project in Tay Tuu urban functional area in Tay Tuu ward (Bac Tu Liem district).

These projects are expected to have a total investment of about VND8,114 billion; providing about 485,120 m2 of residential floor space, equivalent to 5,572 apartments.

The City People's Committee also updated 122 investment projects to build commercial housing and urban areas in the Hanoi City housing development plan for the 2021-2025 period.

These projects are expected to provide approximately 25,139,755m2 of residential floor space, approximately 91,322 units (including 11,612 apartments; 1,824 low-rise units). Of which, 3,540,743m2 of floor space is expected to be completed in the 2021-2025 period and approximately 18,806,974m2 of floor space is expected to be completed after 2025.

The city also updated 1 new construction investment project and 7 projects under review under the direction of the City Party Committee into the housing development plan for resettlement, arranging temporary accommodation for owners and users of apartment buildings during the implementation of the project to renovate and rebuild apartment buildings in the city in the period of 2021-2025.

The update of the above list of projects is the basis for the People's Committees of districts to implement investment policies, organize auctions of land use rights, and bid to select investors to implement the projects.
