Vehicles of the Ho Chi Minh City Command depart from the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city.

On September 15, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City - City Relief Mobilization Committee organized the transportation of 40 tons of rice and 40 tons of other essential goods to the two provinces of Yen Bai and Phu Tho.

Goods are gathered at Song Than station ( Binh Duong province).

Of which, 40 tons of rice were transported from Gia Dinh Regiment, City Command, the remaining 40 tons of goods were transported from the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city to Song Than station (Binh Duong) for transport by Vietnam railway.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, the immediate relief items are to help people in flood-hit areas overcome difficulties soon.

It rained for a long time but the transportation work was carried out urgently.

“People need food to immediately meet essential needs such as: dry food, instant noodles, nutrition, medicine, drinking water and other personal items,” said Mr. Trung.
