Carlos Alcaraz has reached 47 weeks at the top of the ATP rankings as of this week, an excellent achievement in the young Spaniard's career.

Alcaraz is just three weeks away from reaching 50 weeks at the top of the ATP rankings, which would put him in 14th place on the list of players with the most weeks at the top of the ATP rankings. Jannik Sinner currently has a record of 66 weeks at the top of the ATP rankings.

This year's Grand Slam championships all belong to Alcaraz and Sinner, especially they met each other in 3/4 finals. Sinner won the Australian Open, Wimbledon while Alcaraz won the Roland Garros, US Open.

Carlos Alcaraz won three ATP Masters 1000 tournaments: Monte Carlo Masters, Rome Masters and Cincinnati Open, and three ATP 500 tournaments: Rotterdam Open, Queen's Club Championship and Japan Open. The Spanish star won 71 matches, lost 9 matches and won 8 titles.

Jannik Sinner won 58 matches, lost 6 matches and won 6 titles this season. The Italian superstar won the ATP Finals, 1 ATP Masters 1000 tournament, the Paris Masters, and 2 ATP 500 tournaments, the China Open and the Vienna Open.

Several players took part in the 2025 Davis Cup team tournament last week, so the men’s singles rankings did not change much. Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner did not play in Italy, where hosts Italy beat Spain in the final to win the title.

Flavio Cobolli and Matteo Berrettini shined as Italy won the Davis Cup for the third consecutive time, a new record for team tennis. This time Italy's championship was not as explosive as other seasons, because the world-class tournament had few top players participating.

The positions after Carlos Alcaraz in the ATP rankings are Jannik Sinner (11,500 points), Alexander Zverev (5,160 points), Novak Djokovic (4,830 points), Felix Auger-Aliassime (4,245 points), Taylor Fritz (4,135 points) and Alex de Minaur (4,135 points).
