The sound of Muong gongs opens the festival on Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day

Opening of the 2nd Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival.

The Muong Ethnic Cultural Festival aims to honor and promote the unique cultural values of the Muong people while raising awareness of preserving and promoting cultural identity in the period of integration and development. In a space rich in cultural identity, Deputy Minister Trinh Thi Thuy performed the gong-beating ceremony to open the festival.

In his opening speech, Director of the Department of Culture of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups Trinh Ngoc Chung emphasized: In the atmosphere of the Week of "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage", the 2nd Muong Ethnic Culture Festival is a highlight program with a series of rich activities. The festival is an opportunity for Muong ethnic people to gather at the Common House, to honor and spread the cultural values of Muong ethnic groups and at the same time contribute to the overall picture of the work of preserving and promoting the cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to the development of local socio-economy .

With the spirit of solidarity, learning and spreading the traditional cultural values of the Vietnamese people, the festival will bring many attractive experiences about the culture of the Muong ethnic group. Along with mass art activities, performances and exchanges, art troupes will together promote and introduce the value of Vietnamese cultural heritage in general and the culture of the Muong ethnic group in particular to tourists.
