An Giang: Opening of BIM Group IRONMAN 70.3 Phu Quoc 2025 Week

On November 14, in Phu Quoc special zone, An Giang province, the opening ceremony of BIM Group IRONMAN 70.3 Phu Quoc Week took place, with the participation of about 2,000 athletes from more than 60 countries and territories.

This year's event attracted more than 2,000 athletes from more than 60 countries and territories, along with thousands of spectators and companions.

The 2025 season also recorded the largest number of registrations in history across all distances. Notably, the number of Vietnamese athletes in the 70.3 distance at this year's tournament increased by nearly 25% compared to the 2024 season, demonstrating the sustainable development and widespread spread of the domestic triathlon community.

The race course is designed to international standards, including 1.9km swimming, 90km cycling and 21.1km running, leading athletes to conquer the beautiful coastal roads of Phu Quoc.

The activities in the BIM Group IRONMAN 70.3 Phu Quoc 2025 Event Week demonstrate the orientation of sustainable development and community engagement, where sports not only create economic and tourism imprints but also carry profound humanistic values.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of An Giang Province Le Van Phuoc said that the BIM Group IRONMAN 70.3 Phu Quoc is an international sporting event of great significance in the journey of developing Phu Quoc into a regional tourism-service-sea sports center. The event not only promotes the image of a dynamic, modern and integrated Phu Quoc, but also strongly promotes local tourism, accommodation, culinary and service activities.
