Introducing Vietnamese culture and cuisine at Pakistan's Folklore Fair

With a variety of publications and souvenirs displayed in a space imbued with traditional Vietnamese cultural identity, the booth of the Vietnamese Embassy at the Lok Mela Folk Culture Fair 2025 (Pakistan) attracted the attention of many visitors.

In order to promote the image of Vietnam to the people of the host country, the Vietnamese Embassy in Pakistan attended the Lok Mela Folk Culture Fair 2025. This is the largest cultural event held annually in the capital Islamabad and unlike every year, this year's Fair was organized on a large scale to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Culture and Heritage of Pakistan.

Participating in this Fair, the Vietnamese Embassy in Pakistan brought tourism promotion publications and images of the country and people of Vietnam; handicraft souvenir products... With an exhibition space imbued with national identity, the Vietnamese booth made a strong impression on visitors about a friendly, culture-rich and hospitable Vietnam.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese Embassy also introduced to visitors Vietnamese cuisine with rich dishes with strong Vietnamese flavors such as fried spring rolls, bread, donuts, and traditional candies.

Visiting the Vietnamese booth, Pakistani Minister of Culture and Heritage Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, Secretary General of the National Assembly of Pakistan Farah Naz Akbar and a number of government officials expressed their love and impression of the sophistication and harmony of Vietnamese cuisine.

Appreciating the cultural activities organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in recent times, Pakistani officials said that participating in the Lok Mela 2025 Cultural Fair is a practical activity to promote cultural exchange, enhance mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, and at the same time contribute to promoting the image of a peaceful, friendly and dynamic Vietnam to international friends.

The Vietnamese booth received attention and high appreciation from the Organizing Committee, visitors as well as local media agencies, thereby contributing to deepening the traditional friendship between Vietnam and Pakistan.
