NDO - Only one day left until the opening ceremony of the Dien Bien National Tourism Year 2024. These days, all over the streets and public entertainment venues of Dien Bien Phu city are filled with flags, banners, and slogans promoting the holiday. Dien Bien National Tourism Year 2024 will be organized with 169 activities and events. Of which, Dien Bien province will host 28 activities and events; 13 activities and events will be implemented by agencies under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; 128 activities and events will be organized by 33 provinces and cities nationwide.

Among the 28 activities hosted by the locality, Dien Bien province identified the Opening Ceremony of Dien Bien National Tourism Year 2024 associated with the Ban Flower Festival; activities to promote trade in the Northwest of Dien Bien 2024 and a series of activities that have taken place since the beginning of the year, such as the Swallow-tailed Boat Racing Festival in Muong Lay town; Dien Bien Cherry Blossom Festival 2024 and the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory held on the morning of May 7 on a national scale, as typical and characteristic activities that Dien Bien province will host during Dien Bien National Tourism Year 2024, associated with the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.
