Quang Tan needs to support and create the best possible conditions for household businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises to start up and expand their production and business activities.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of Quang Tan commune strives to achieve or surpass the planned targets for 17 key indicators.

On the morning of July 29th, the Party Committee of Quang Tan commune solemnly held its first Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

The Congress was attended by 132 delegates, representing 605 party members from 52 subordinate branches. Bui Huy Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion of Lam Dong Province, attended and directed the Congress.

Comrades Bui Huy Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion of Lam Dong Province; and H'Vi Êban, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province and President of the Vietnam Women's Union of Lam Dong Province, attended the Congress.

During the past term, the Party Committee of the commune focused on leading, directing, and effectively implementing tasks, with 12 out of 14 targets achieved or exceeded compared to the Resolution.

In particular, many indicators exceeded expectations, such as: the total annual production value of the entire commune reached 934 billion VND, exceeding the target by 48.6%; average per capita income reached 36 million VND/person/year, exceeding the target by 14 million VND/person/year; and average annual budget revenue reached over 20.1 billion VND.

To date, the rate of hardening of main inter-village roads in the commune has reached 95.1%. The overall poverty rate is 9.2%, decreasing by an average of 8-9% per year. Notably, the poverty rate among the local ethnic minority population is only 10.45%, decreasing by an average of 9-10% per year…

The Party Committee of Quang Tan commune in its new term is guided by the spirit of "clear people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear products, clear results, clear deadlines, and clear roadmaps".

In his opening remarks at the Congress, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Tan commune, Dinh Ngoc Nhan, stated that in the new term, the Quang Tan commune Congress will continue to build upon the achievements of the previous term in implementing the four key areas of focus and two breakthroughs.

In this context, agriculture is the main industry, playing a leading role in socio- economic development. The commune will develop agriculture in depth, applying high technology, linking it with processing and consumption markets, and forming sustainable production chains.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of the commune has set 17 main targets. These include an average annual economic growth rate of 9.42%, an average annual growth rate of 10% in the commune's total state budget revenue, a 20% increase in per capita income, and a poverty rate below 6% according to the multidimensional poverty standard.

In his address to the Congress, Bui Huy Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lam Dong Province, highly appreciated the unity, cohesion, and efforts of the Party committees, government, and people of the locality, especially throughout the process of preparing and implementing the administrative unit merger, transfer, and deployment of tasks according to the new model.

With the spirit of "running and queuing at the same time," Comrade Bui Huy Thanh suggested that the Party Committee of the commune should quickly promote the strengths of each former locality. At the same time, it should overcome limitations and shortcomings, perfecting a streamlined government apparatus that operates efficiently, effectively, and closely with the people.

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Bui Huy Thanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Lam Dong Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, presented flowers and a congratulatory banner to the Congress.

Regarding the Congress documents, the Party Committee of the commune needs to clarify the characteristics and situation of the locality. This includes clearly identifying the potential and strengths of each area to serve as a basis for determining the main goals, targets, and key tasks and solutions, with the spirit of "clear responsibilities, clear tasks, clear accountability, clear outputs, clear results, clear deadlines, and clear roadmaps."

The comrade also agreed with and highly appreciated the key tasks and breakthroughs presented by the Party Committee of the commune at the Congress. In particular, attention should be paid to effectively implementing the "four pillars" of innovation and reform within its jurisdiction.
