Phan Thế Gia Hiển was the first athlete to "open the door" and bring home a gold medal for Aerobic Vietnam at the 32nd SEA Games . His excellent performance defeated the Thai athlete with a total score of 19.450 in the men's singles event.

In the women's singles, Tran Ha Vi of Vietnam delivered a satisfying performance. It is known that Ha Vi faced a lot of pressure and difficulties during the preparation period for the SEA Games because she had not achieved good results at the 2023 Aerobic World Cup.

However, entering the performance, Ha Vi made all the audience at the Olympic stadium admire with her extremely eye-catching choreography.

Ha Vi performs a 360-degree L-turn. One of the very difficult moves that requires high technique and dexterity from the athlete.

Not letting their teammates down, the three Vietnamese boys secured the final gold medal of the first day of competition, helping Vietnam take sole first place in the entire delegation, ahead of their main opponent, Thailand.

After the "hat-trick" of winning 3 gold medals in men's singles, women's singles and groups of 3, the Vietnamese Aerobics team continued to dominate the mixed doubles and groups of 5 on the next competition day, May 14. In the final of the mixed doubles, Vietnam had the participation of the couple Le Hoang Phong and Tran Ngoc Thuy Vi.

The pair Hoang Phong - Thuy Vi had a successful competition day. The Vietnamese athlete duo brought graceful and elegant dances and movements to the vibrant music, making all the spectators present at the Olympic Stadium cheer with great excitement. With an outstanding score of 19,233, far surpassing the remaining opponents, Thailand and Cambodia, they won the 4th gold medal for Vietnam.

The group of 5 is the final competition of the Aerobic category on May 14. Before coming to the 32nd SEA Games, Vietnamese athletes won the 2023 Aerobic World Championship Cup in this category.

Athletes Tran Ngoc Thuy Vi, Le Hoang Phong, Vuong Hoai An, Nguyen Che Thanh, and Nguyen Viet Anh demonstrated their world champion status with graceful and flexible dances, completely overwhelming their previous competitors.

With 19,611 points in the 5-person group competition, Aerobic Vietnam won the only remaining gold medal.

After the competition day of May 14, the Vietnam Aerobic Gymnastics team ended its journey at the 32nd SEA Games with an absolute victory, winning all 5 gold medals in this sport.
