After storm No. 13, Song Cau ward, Dak Lak province was recorded as two of the localities that suffered the most damage in Dak Lak province.
According to records in residential areas, coastal roads and boat mooring areas such as Hung Binh and Vung Chao villages, Dan Phu 1, Song Cau ward and some coastal communes, a series of electric poles were broken, houses had their roofs completely blown off and boats were damaged, piled on top of each other...
On November 7, the functional forces of Song Cau ward and other localities urgently conducted an inventory of the damage caused by storm No. 13. According to preliminary statistics from the functional forces, hundreds of fishing boats were damaged by large waves. Currently, the armed forces are coordinating with sectors, levels, Party committees, local authorities and people to urgently deploy measures to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, in order to quickly restore the power grid, houses, boats, stabilize life and production after the storm.
According to preliminary statistics of the Dak Lak Provincial Civil Defense Command, by the afternoon of November 7, storm No. 13 caused damage to housing: 25 houses completely collapsed; 4,539 houses had their roofs blown off; 5,501 houses were flooded; 26 schools were affected, with 73 classrooms, nearly 1,000m of fences damaged, collapsed and about 54,000 cages and rafts damaged, with preliminary estimated damage of about 1,900 billion VND. Currently, localities are urgently counting and assessing the damage.
